Hello, my name is Rena Higginson from Moss side

What motivated me to be on your Tenants Panel?

I joined the tenant panel after being encouraged by my neighbours and other tenants in the area.  I feel I was chosen for the role and as an original “Moss Sider”, I care about what people think about their area and I am quite proud of it!  Being on the panel gives me the opportunity to defend where I am from.

What has been my experience with Mosscare?

µ  My experience of working with Mosscare is that it is very informative and I have learned a lot from being involved

µ  I have been on numerous projects and events  including:

ü  The annual tenant panel away days

ü  Attending the annual tenants meetings

ü  Training courses to Trafford hall

ü  Gardening Competitions

ü  I also won the hearts in the community awards

What are my interests?

µ  Personally, I am interested in gardening, travelling (learning more about other communities), Driving, music and films

µ  I am interested in working alongside Mosscare to help improve the quality of life of people in my community
