Clear English

All staff have now received training in Clear English. Clear English is our standard for writing in a straightforward way. All information we send to you should be easy to understand. We are working to bring all of our documents in line with this standard. 2 residents have also been trained. This will help them in their role as tenant inspectors as they can:

  • Live up to the standard themselves as they help us to review and develop documents

 

Language Line

Do you or someone you know need an interpreter when contacting us?

We can arrange an intrepreter by telephone courtesy of Language Line. If you, or someone you know, does not speak much English but need to talk to someone at Mosscare you can follow these simple steps:

  • Phone us on 0161 226 4211
  • Just tell us the name of the language you speak and your phone number.
  • Tell us the name of the person or team you need to speak to if you know it.
  • Hang up the phone
  • We will call you back within a few minutes with an interpreter.
  • We can then have a three way conversation. You will be able to hear the member of staff speaking, and then the translation. The interpreter will then interpret what you say in reply to the member of staff and so on. This service is also available for reporting emergency repairs outside office hours.
