Mosscare’s Tenants Panel is a key part of our tenant involvement policy.

The panel is made up of no more than fifteen Mosscare tenants who represent different areas where we own and manage properties. Our properties are divided into three areas based on the number of properties in each area.

For each of the three areas the Annual Tenant’s meeting elects four tenant representatives to serve on the Panel. The Panel can also co-opt a further three members.

The three areas are as follows:

	i)	Area 1	Moss Side, Rusholme and Fallowfield
	ii)	Area 2	Burnage, Chorlton, Didsbury, Withington, Northenden, Whalley Range, Wythenshawe, Trafford and Stockport.
	iii)	Area 3	Ardwick, Denton, Gorton, Higher Openshaw, Longsight, Levenshulme, Hulme and Tameside.

Annual Tenant's Meeting

All Mosscare’s tenants are invited to attend the Annual Tenant’s meeting.

 

The Annual Tenants Meeting was held on Saturday 14 March 2009. 

 

The next meeting is scheduled for 27 March 2010

 

Resident's Associations

Do you want to have a say in the way services are run?

Do you want to campaign for something e.g. play facilities, a community room?

Do you want to meet and help other Mosscare Residents?

Do you have an idea for something you would like Mosscare to do?

Do you want to get a group of people together to work with Mosscare on improving the area you live in?

 

If so then you could start up a tenants/residents association

Mosscare can help you with this. We will help with advice and encouragement whenever you need it. To begin with we can help in organising and inviting residents to the first meeting. We can help you find a venue and publicise the event.

A representative from Mosscare will attend meetings to give support for as long as is deemed necessary. This will help us to action any issues raised and update the group on local issues. Mosscare also provides support for residents associations that are cross-tenure groups. By this we mean groups that may consist of residents of other landlords and or owner-occupiers.
