Smart Phone App for Tenants Repairs
We are the first social landlord in the UK to release a bespoke smart phone App for our tenants to report repairs.
The App, which is free to download for Android and iPhone users, allows our customers to report a repair or other issue, such as, anti-social behaviour.
Tenants can make reports at any time of day or night and attach photographs, taken on their mobile phone, to help explain the situation.
Grace Hughes, Mosscares Customer Service Centre Manager, said: Its exciting to be at the cutting edge and to give something useful to customers who already love using their phones for routine activities, such as, social networking and mobile banking. Its our response to demand from tenants and leaseholders for better ways to communicate with us.
The App, called Habitapp, came out of close collaboration with Emerald, who have worked with us on several marketing and design projects.

Antony Dyson, Emeralds Managing Director, said: Sales of mobile phones in the UK show that smart phones now make up 48% of the market. Inevitably as more tenants get connected in this way, social landlords will look for ways to respond to tenants changing lifestyles and media habits.
Launching Habitapp to tenants and board members, Mosscares Chief Executive, Rob Ferguson, described the move to digital access for many people as a more efficient way to do things.
Were always looking to improve the way we do things. Its a great way to communicate with us, in addition to the standard methods of emailing, texting, phoning or calling into one of our offices.
A demo of the App can be viewed on You Tube using the search term, Mosscare Habitapp.
